Our Work
Youth for Global Health and Social Justice is committed to tackling the challenges of climate change. Our Ambassador program is a key part of our efforts, with young people working on the ground to build partnerships and develop plans for our work. Our projects focus on educating students and communities about the water crisis, empowering young people to become agents of change. Through cultural immersion and collaboration with peers worldwide, we aim to create a sustainable future for all.

Trauma to Training - Sierra Leone
At Y4GH, we believe in empowering women through vocational training. That's why we've partnered with My Looks Boutique, Salon, and School of Cosmetology to provide homeless women with the skills they need to succeed. By addressing the challenges of unemployment, we can help prevent human trafficking and create a brighter future for all women.

Y4GH is excited to announce its partnership with school districts and churches in the Detroit Metropolitan area for Summer 2025. The Summer Water program is designed for students aged 10-15 and will run for one week (Monday-Thursday, three hours each day). Through interactive activities, students will learn about the treatment and prevention of waterborne diseases and the mechanics of water treatment facilities. The program aims to help students understand the importance of water and its impact on people and the environment.
